Tuition & Financial Aid
Invest in your child's future.
The annual tuition for a Harbor Day education is greatly recouped by the advantages gained from a private school education. Tuition allows students at Harbor Day to receive individualized attention, attend specialty classes as part of the regular school day, and learn a more advanced curriculum. The value of our private independent primary school is also demonstrated by the success of Harbor Day alumni in high school and college.
Beginning in 2018, a provision of the new tax code allows families to spend up to $10,000 per student annually from a 529 savings plan on K-12 education. This may be a viable option for paying your child’s tuition.
Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic school year is $33,730 for grades K-8. Harbor Day’s tuition includes all field trips, school supplies, athletics, one-to-one iPads in all grades, and the yearbook.
The deposit for the 2023-2024 school year is $3,400, approximately 10% of the tuition.
The balance of the tuition may be paid using one of three payment plan options:
One-Payment Plan: a tuition payment of $30,330 will be due on May 1, 2023. Two-Payment Plan: tuition payments of $21,230 due on May 1, 2023, and $9,100 due on November 1, 2023. Ten-Payment Plan: Ten monthly payments of $3,033 beginning on May 1, 2023, and concluding on February 1, 2024. Tuition refund insurance must be purchased for all 10-pay plans at an annual cost of $364 per student. The insurance premium is due on May 1, 2023.
Tuition Payments will be made through Blackbaud Tuition Management. Blackbaud Tuition Management accounts are established with the submittal of the enrollment contract and deposit.
Registration Fee (New Family/New Student) A one-time non-refundable registration fee is due on or before May 1, 2023:

New Student - $500 when the second (or more) student in a family enrolls
