Admissions

Applying to Harbor Day

Harbor Day School seeks students who are intellectually capable, who show an enthusiasm for learning, and who exhibit character that would contribute to the well being of the school community. We seek parents who will partner with the school to achieve its mission.

Harbor Day School will accept qualified students without regard to race, creed, color, gender, religion, or national origin in any grade where vacancies are available.

Admission to Harbor Day School is based on several factors including performance on report cards and entrance tests, teacher recommendations, and a half-day classroom visit. Qualified siblings of currently enrolled Harbor Day School students will receive priority acceptance, with the understanding that Harbor Day School may not be the appropriate school for all sibling applicants. Children of alumni are given preference over non-sibling applicants when all other factors are equal.
