Tuition rates for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Grades K-8: $23,900
An Enrollment Deposit of $2,500 must be submitted with the enrollment contract to reserve a place for your student. The deposit is applied to the tuition bill.
Tuition covers all books and supplies, after-school athletic team practices and events, field trips, yearbook, and fifth through eighth grade PE apparel and gear. Uniforms and hot lunch are additional expenses.
The balance of the tuition may be paid using one of three payment plan options:
One-Payment Plan: a tuition payment of $21,400 will be due on June 1, 2019.
Two-Payment Plan: tuition payments of $16,000 due on June 1, 2019, and $5,400 due on November 1, 2019.
Ten-Payment Plan: Ten monthly payments of $2,140 beginning on June 1, 2019, and concluding on March 1, 2020. Tuition refund insurance must be purchased for all 10-pay plans at an annual cost of $328.50 per student. The insurance premium will be payable on June 1, 2019.
Tuition Payments will be made through the Smart Tuition system. Smart Tuition accounts are established with the submittal of the enrollment contract and deposit.Registration Fee (New Family/New Student)
A one-time non-refundable registration fee is due on or before June 1, 2019:
- New Family - $1,500 when the first student in a family enrolls
- New Student - $250 when the second (or more) student in a family enrolls
Harbor Day School grants financial aid to students whose families can demonstrate financial need. Grants are subject to availability of funds and based on a variety of factors.
An administrative committee makes financial aid recommendations and considers financial need based on a family's application submitted for independent assessment by School & Student Services by NAIS
. Financial aid applications must be completed by February 1. Admission decisions are “need-blind.” This means that the applicant family’s financial need will not be taken into consideration during the decision process. All financial aid applications and decisions are administered by the school’s business office. All information is kept strictly confidential.
