  • HDS holds out of town receptions in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
  • Alumni attend on-campus annual events like the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl and Blue Gold Track Meet.

HDS alumni are loyal

  • There are 49 alumni parents of 68 students currently enrolled at HDS.
  • Seven alumni are faculty members, including the Head of School and Upper School Director. All have children who have attended or who currently attend HDS.

HDS alumni give back

  • Alumni sponsor networking events to support professional development.             
  • The 15 member volunteer Alumni Advisory Council provides input and assistance to HDS, and connects HDS with the broader community.
  • Alumni give to the Annual Fund to honor Harbor Day School and pay their education forward to future students.  
  • We encourage alumni participation in the Annual Fund with a gift in any amount.  Our alumni tradition is to give an amount corresponding to graduation date and move the decimal point according to comfort level.   ($20.16, $201.60, $2,016.00...)
  • Our annual alumni giving day is on #GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
