Kids Run the OC Marathon!

On Saturday, May 4, 28 runners from Harbor Day School joined over 7,000 students from Orange County to participate in the Kids Run OC Marathon. Throughout the new year, students have trained and learned about keeping an “even pace” to prepare for the popular run. Harbor Day is extremely proud of the students that represented our school in the final marathon mile. All 28 runners performed their best and demonstrated improvement! Three HDS 6th graders placed on the top ten leaderboards for the 11-year-old and up division. Jake P. (6:15) placed 10th out of 465 males in his age group. Cindy L. (6:54) placed 10th out of 337 females in her age group and Yasmin C. (6:17) placed 3rd out of 337 females in her age group. Congratulations to all the HDS students that put forth an excellent effort to represent our school!
