Coming to school every day brings such a light to my life. There seems to be a contagious positive energy and enthusiasm throughout the school. Not to mention all the waves, "hello's", and smiles you receive while walking through the halls.

The classroom gains from professional development. Whether it's learning to use the Harkness table at Exeter, or the DBQ writing style at the Orange County Department of Ed, or the RULER system at the Willows School, we always bring information back with us and immediately apply it to the classroom. In fact, I find that our administration not only expects this move but also pushes us to experiment after our great trips. I also love being at professional development because you are surrounded by other motivated, intelligent educators who want to make their little worlds better, and that makes you work even harder.
