On January 23, students in grades K-2 were treated to an exuberant performance by the Imagination Machine company. The Imagination Machine, a local performance group, takes written stories and brings them to life! The group travels to schools all over California performing stories from students at that particular school. Out of all the stories created, six Harbor Day students had their stories acted out. The performance group chose a variety of stories to be told including: a narrative written in first person, a short story, a story based on interesting characters, and a collaborative piece written together by two students. Students and faculty laughed non-stop during the show. This was a great exercise in being open-minded and sparking those creative thoughts and ideas.
