In Memoriam
Cathy Toohey Posner passed away on September 8 at her home in San Juan Capistrano. Cathy taught first grade at Harbor Day school for thirteen years. After leaving HDS, she relocated to New York City and became a children’s literature publisher. She co-authored two books with former HDS librarian Anne Polkingharn. Cathy became Vice President of Marketing, Education Group for Scholastic, Inc.
