A Fun Day for SCRAM!

Thirty Harbor Day Latin students registered for this year’s SCRAM Day event on October 28, 2017.  It was hosted by Loyola High School and about 850 Latin student delegates from 34 Southern California schools attended. Our students participated enthusiastically in 6 hours of various activities. The day’s program included academic testing, language activities like Certamen Quizbowl and Myth Bee, art and culture workshops, and Olympica sports. Many of our Harbor Day students also formed teams that participated in both the Project Runway and the Aqueduct Challenge STEAM project. For both of these contests, students have only one hour to use basic materials to design and create a final product according to specific guidelines. Special thanks go to Mrs. Mahdi and Mr. Robinson, who helped Magistra by acting as chaperones and assisting with events.
